Prominently located in the heart of Singapore’s new downtown district, the Marina Bay Financial Centre is envisioned to be a world class integrated mixed-use development with the prestige and excellence parallel to thriving urban environments such as Canary Wharf, La Defense and Sydney Harbour.
A successful joint venture between Hongkong Land, Cheung Kong Holdings and Keppel Land, the development comprises three commercial and two residential towers, a city park and a subterranean retail mall covering some two hectares of land.
From design development to the construction phases, aplusi asia was part of the design team with Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates, New York for the commercial towers and retail component. Our involvement focused on architectural detailing and design coordination of the project.
Commercial Tower One, the closest to Marina Bay, is 33-storeys with a 21,000 sq ft floor plate. Commercial Tower Two, boasting the most number of office floors, is 51-storeys with a 25,000 sq ft floor plate. Commercial Tower Three, the tallest, is 46-storeys with a 30,000 sq ft floor plate.
The grade A office development has also been recognized by Green Mark, a green building rating system which is the local equivalent of LEED. Commercial Towers One and Two received the Gold Award and Tower Three obtained the GoldPlus Award.
